Trent Trahan is the Chief Executive Officer of PrimeLink. Under his tutelage, PrimeLink was founded. Trahan oversees the management and development of the phone company during a time of revolutionary change in the telecommunications industry. In addition to product expansion, Trahan has also overseen PrimeLink’s geographic expansion which includes plans to enter new markets in New York and Vermont. Also, under his tutelage, PrimeLink completed a fiber optic network which runs between Montreal, Quebec and Albany, New York. The fiber line made high-speed fiber optic capacity available through the Albany to Montreal corridor for the first time.
Under Trahan’s direction, PrimeLink established the PrimeLink Great Northern ShootOut, a two-day tournament featuring the four of the nation’s top college hockey programs. The four-year sponsorship commitment spotlights the competitive Division III hockey programs of Norwich University, Middlebury College, Plattsburgh State University and an invitational fourth team in a round-robin tournament that takes place Thanksgiving weekend.
A native of Chazy, Trahan, attended Plattsburgh State University. An accomplished equestrian, he lives in Plattsburgh, New York. In the memory of his Aunt Edith, he instituted the Edith K. Knapp Community Service Scholarship, a trust held by the Plattsburgh College Foundation.
PrimeLink has been extremely responsive to our needs for both our voice communication, as well as our high speed internet service. PrimeLink is locally owned and operated and very willing to give back to the community in a number of ways, including sponsoring the Adirondack Thunder. We are very happy to have them as a supporter and service provider.
