Directions for Setting up Windows Live Mail
Click on the start button
Select all programs. Left click on Accessories. Left click on Windows Live Mail. It will go straight to the mail program. Please follow the instructions below to configure Windows Live Mail.
Left click on the small triangle just before the word home. From the menu, left click on Options, then left click on Email Accounts.
Left click to highlight email and left click on next.
Enter your email address, password and display name. Check the box to manually configure server settings. Left click on next.
On this window, the server type is POP. The server address is as follows: mail.primelink1.net
Do not check requires a secure connection (SSL).
Authenticate using it left as Clear Text.
Logon user name is what comes before the @ symbol in your email address. It is case sensitive.
Outgoing server is the same address as before: mail.primelink1.net
Do not check requires a secure connection (SSL) and do not check requires authentication.
When this screen is completed, left click on next.
This screen alerts you that the account has been setup in Windows Live Mail. Left click on finish.
Left click on close and you will be at your inbox. Setup was completed successfully.
